- List at least six tips for implementing a successful neonatal therapy program.

Training Module #2 – Theories & Models of Practice in the NICU
- Define the Synactive Theory of Development.
- Identify two models that influence risk-adjusted neuroprotective care in the NICU.

Training Module #3 – Family & Environment
- List five qualities of the environment that might impact the premature infant.
- Identify three roles of neonatal therapy in managing elements of the macro- and micro-environments.

Training Module #4 – The Neurobehavioral System
- List two important differences in the preterm versus the term brain as it relates to neuroprotective care in the NICU.
- Recall the interplay between the NICU environment, brain development, and infant behaviors (neurobehavioral system).
- Recognize three stress cues in each of the Autonomic, Motor, and State neurobehavioral systems.

Training Module #13 – Instrumental Feeding Assessments & Managing Dysphagia in the NICU
- List three indications for recommending instrumental swallowing assessment for infants in the NICU.
- Define procedure for infant VFSS and FEES.
- Recall two strategies for a multidisciplinary approach to feeding and swallowing management for infants in the NICU.

ASHA CEUs
Learners must complete the entire course in order to receive ASHA CEUs. No partial credit awarded.

National Association of Neonatal Therapists (NANT) is an AOTA Approved Provider of professional development. Course approval ID# 11976. This Distance Learning Independent Course is offered at 1.7 CEUs, Intermediate level, Occupational Therapy Service Delivery, Professional Issues & Foundational Knowledge. AOTA does not endorse specific course content, products, or clinical procedures.
The Ignite Program is approved for 17.0 contact hours.
PT CE Credit
This activity is provided by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners Accredited Provider 2801058TX and meets continuing competence requirements for physical therapist and physical therapist assistant licensure renewal in Texas. This activity is approved for 17.0 CCUs.

NANT is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Physical Therapy as an approved provider of physical therapy and physical therapist assistant continuing education.

Completion Requirements
•
All enrollees must submit payment in full. Failure to do so will result in loss of course and CE certificate access.
•
For education credit, the learner must view all Training Modules, complete the post-module learning assessments with at least an 80%, and complete the program evaluation. Login and logout times are recorded and documented
•
Following course completion, learners receive a CE certificate and a zip file containing the necessary information to submit for education credit to their individual state, where required. The zip file will include a course bibliography. Physical therapists are responsible for knowing and adhering to their state’s CE deadlines, rules, and regulations.
•
Instructional methods include webinars, lectures, videos, case studies, handouts, activity sheets and tools, live guidance calls, and a private Facebook Group.
•
All 17 hours of CE Credit earned during Ignite will be awarded during the calendar year that the program is completed. CE Credit will be awarded on one Certificate of Completion that reflects the date the learner fulfills all the Ignite Program completion requirements.

Guidance calls do not offer education credit.
•
You will have access to the Ignite content for 3 years from the date the Ignite Program starts.
